Pre-ballet for 3 and under is a 30-minute dance class for our tiniest ballet dancers. This class includes simple stretches and dance instruction as well as dance games and free dance. It encourages listening and following directions, coordination, and creativity. There is no dress code for this class, but dance attire is encouraged.

Pre-Primary

Level 1: Ballet Beginnings (Ages 2-3)

Embark on a magical 30-minute journey into the world of ballet with our youngest dancers. This enchanting class weaves together basic stretches, dance routines, and playful games. It’s a delightful introduction to dance, fostering coordination, creativity, and the joy of movement. We welcome all little dancers with open arms, no dress code required – though dance attire adds to the fun!

Level 2: Ballet Explorers (Ages 3-4)

Dive into the playful world of ballet with our 45-minute classes for 3-4 year-olds. This class is a delightful blend of ballet basics and imaginative dance games, designed to nurture body awareness, coordination, and a love for music and dance. We encourage our young ballet explorers to don their dance attire and ballet shoes for a truly immersive experience.

Level 3: Ballet Foundations (Ages 4-5)

Step into the enchanting world of ballet with this one-hour class for 4-5 year-olds. Our absolute beginner’s ballet course introduces the basics of ballet barre, center work, and across-the-floor exercises, interspersed with fun dance games. It’s a joyful way to lay the groundwork for traditional ballet while enhancing body awareness, independence, and musicality. Dress code: Dance attire and ballet shoes, with hair secured away from the face.

Primary

Level 1: Ballet Progression (Ages 6-8)

This class for 6-8 year-olds builds upon the skills acquired in Pre-Primary Level 3. Dancers will delve deeper into ballet technique, expanding their vocabulary and mastering barre work with proper etiquette. Center exercises will combine ballet steps into delightful short sequences. Required attire: Dance clothes and a neat hairstyle.

Level 1.5: Ballet Dynamics (Ages 8-12)

Accelerate your ballet journey with this faster-paced beginner class for 8-12 year-olds. Focused on proper body alignment, footwork, and simple epaulement, this class nurtures independence and memorization skills. Dress code includes ballet attire, shoes, and a ballet bun or equivalent.

Level 2: Ballet Elevation (Ages 8-12)

This beginner to intermediate class for 8-12 year-olds elevates ballet skills, focusing on strength, confidence, and technique. Dancers will expand their vocabulary and refine their alignment, coordination, and musicality. Ballet attire, shoes, and a neat bun are required for this 1.25-hour class.

Intermediate

Level 3: Ballet Mastery (Ages 9-12)

(PLACEMENT CLASS OR 2 YEARS OF BALLET LEVEL 2 REQUIRED)

For dancers aged 9-12, this intermediate class emphasizes the finesse of barre and center combinations. It focuses on placement, stability, musicality, and expanding ballet vocabulary. Dancers should have ballet attire, shoes, and a neat bun. This 1.5-hour class meets twice weekly, and students are encouraged to explore jazz and modern dance.

4: Ballet Advancement

(PLACEMENT CLASS OR 2 YEARS OF BALLET LEVEL 3 REQUIRED)

This intermediate class pushes stamina and precision in demi-pointe and multiple step executions. It introduces port de bras and focuses on pirouette preparation and petit allegro. Ballet attire and shoes are a must. The class is 1.5 hours long, with a two-class weekly requirement, and encourages additional jazz and modern dance classes.

Advanced

5: Advanced Ballet Foundations

(PLACEMENT CLASS OR 2 YEARS OF BALLET 4 REQUIRED)

The first advanced level class challenges dancers with complex body directions, leg extensions, and fast allegro work. It prepares dancers for corps de ballet and classical variations. Required: 3 weekly classes and additional modern or jazz classes. Ballet attire and bun are mandatory.

6: Ballet Excellence

(PLACEMENT CLASS OR 2 YEARS OF BALLET 5 REQUIRED)

The second advanced level class emphasizes artistry and technical precision, preparing dancers for professional or university-level ballet. The focus is on technical foundation and personal flourish. Required: 3 weekly classes and additional modern or jazz classes. Ballet attire and bun are necessary.

Adult Ballet and Barre

Our adult ballet and adult ballet barre classes are great weekly classes for adults who have some previous ballet training and are looking to brush up on their technique. They are beginner/intermediate level classes dedicated to classical ballet technique. It is classical instructions without the intensity. Class moves at a comfortable pace. Athletic or dance attire and ballet shoes are strongly encouraged.
